I have always taken my academics seriously, and receiving an Academic Achievement Award was a meaningful milestone for me because it reflected the effort, consistency, and discipline I put into my studies over time. More importantly, it shaped how I approach learning itself, not as memorisation, but as understanding why things work. That mindset is at the core of how I tutor. My tutoring style is highly interactive and question-based. I don’t believe in talking at students. Instead, I focus on constant engagement by asking questions, encouraging students to explain their thinking, and working through problems together. Especially in subjects like Math, working through past paper questions is important, which is why I stress on this aspect very much during tutoring sessions. This helps me understand where they’re getting stuck and allows them to build confidence in their own reasoning rather than relying on answers being given to them. I’m very patient and adapt each session to the student’s pace, whether they need concepts broken down slowly or prefer to be challenged with more difficult questions. I’m also flexible in how I tutor — both in teaching style and scheduling. I understand that students have different routines and commitments, so I’m happy to adjust across days where possible to make learning consistent and manageable. My aim is to create a supportive, low-pressure environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, because that’s where real learning happens. Ultimately, I want students to leave sessions not just with better grades, but with a clearer understanding and greater confidence in their ability to learn independently.

Last summer I sat my A levels in Politics, Business and History revising 24/7 and refusing to leave the house choosing to study instead.Choosing to study these subjects was based on my enjoyment of these humanities and social science subjects during my gsces thus motivating me when studying these subjects.As a result I achieved an A* in business. a B in politics and a B in history which alleviated me of my worst fears and meant I could study politics further at Queen Mary university.I can relate to current politics and business students in year 12 and 13 who are preparing for their A levels including the stress and struggles involved in studying politics and business including trying to master essay writing whilst attempting to understand key concepts such as supply and demand graphs. I plan to offer effective tuition at an affordable price planning to use a range of teaching methods such as creating and using case studies to prepare you for these exams whilst administering solutions to problems you face in challenging topics.As well as providing a wide range of resources and effective guidance I’m very flexible being free at some point each day of the week whilst always being available to answer key questions as well.
