Hi! I’m Liv, a final-year student at KCL. I’ve been tutoring for several years now, from one-to-one support and volunteering in a local London school to peer mentoring in high school, where I helped IGCSE students boost their confidence and grades. One highlight I’m really proud of is receiving the Cambridge Learner Award for IGCSE Mathematics for achieving the highest score in the country. I truly believe strong foundations and practice matter - but having a tutor who’s patient, encouraging, and has your back when things get tricky makes learning so much easier. I am currently a first year Computer Engineering student at the University Of Birmingham, my experience applying to University has allowed him to aid several other students with the process. I’ve always been passionate about learning and helping others with their studies. During school, I volunteered as a teaching assistant in a special education school and taught computer science to Years 7–9 at a nearby school. After finishing school, I also had the privilege of teaching in orphanages in India. I am second year medicine student at University of Aberdeen. I started tutoring after my Scottish Higher exam and having 100 + hours of tutoring experience in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for Scottish National 5, Scottish higher and GCSE courses. I have obtained all A in my Scottish Nation 5(AAAAAAAA) , Scottish Higher (AAAAA)and Scottish Advanced Higher exam(AAA). I received offer from 3 med school. 4th one was not reject but I have withdrawn after receiving 3 offers. I focus on making strong foundation of the core of the subject by following course specification so that student can get the clear and strong understanding of the subject and eventually get confident on the subject matter. My personal approach is , initially to assess the student’s current level to identify the areas they are facing challenges and work on those areas to make them confident on all the subject areas.
